LIST 36 - BURIALS - ST PETERS RICHMOND

 
 
The first burial was performed on the 17th July 1814. During  the 
remainder  of  the decade there were 57 burials performed  at  St 
Peters.
 
The information recorded for each burial is as follows:
               burial date
               death date
               Christian name
               family name
               age
               civil status at time of death
               year and ship of arrival
               comments
               reference number
 
The burials are listed in chronological order.
 
The Rev Henry Fulton performed the first burial and remained  the 
minister  of  St Peters for the rest of the  decade.  Information 
recorded  included date of death, whether came free  or  prisoner and  
ship  of  arrival  (in many  cases  including  the  year  of arrival). 
Names of parents were recorded for the colonial born.
 
For  the colonial born their year of birth and parents names  are 
recorded in the ship of arrival column.
 
The reference numbers for St Peters run sequentially from 0001 to 0057 
at the end of the decade. 
 
To  locate an entry on this list; firstly an alphabetical  search on 
the name would be made on List 29 using code "SPR" from  which the  
date  of  burial  would be  retrieved,  secondly  using  the appropriate 
date, the burial would then be located on this list.
