Fellowship of First Fleeters
First Fleet House will close on December 10 2025 for the
Christmas - New Year holiday season, reopening in late January
2026.
An
additional Website for the
Fellowship of First Fleeters
has been developed. It is a "sister site" to this
Original Website,
and the two sites are interlinked with relevant Links on this website redirected to respective pages on the
Wordpress "sister
website".
Note - The additional Wordpress sister
website was created to
"future-proof" the huge amount of content on this Original
website. It is
based on "out of the
box" Wordpress, which doesn't need HTML computer coding skills,
nor external professional IT consultants. The Fellowship's new
Wordpress "sister website" was launched at the 2025 Australian Day
Lunch event by Fellowship President Gillian Doyle. It

Who we Are
We are an
organisation comprised of
descendants of those who arrived in Sydney Cove with the First
Fleet on 26 January 1788 & also
those interested in the First Fleet.
The Fellowship was formed in
1968, and since then over 9167 descendants have established their
lineage, and joined the Fellowship. Links have so far been
established in 137 families to
no fewer than 195 individual First
Fleet Ancestors.
There are currently
over 900 active members (see
History)
Membership (How
to Join)
Membership is open to anyone
who can prove his or her relationship to a First Fleeter –
Convict, Marine, Seaman, Civilian (including Wives & Children) or Government Official.
Additionally, Associate and
Friend memberships are also welcomed, including people whose
ancestors arrived on Later Fleets.
How to find us:
"First
Fleet House" at 105 Cathedral Street, Woolloomooloo, an historic
section of Sydney.
Our Chapters
There are currently
16 active Chapters covering Sydney suburbs,
regional NSW,
ACT, Queensland, Western Australia and Tasmania.

We need help in running the Fellowship - can you volunteer ? Do
you have office or computer skills eg email or Microsoft Office
suite, library assistance, or are you a handyman/woman? No experience is neeeded and we will provide training. Please
